I guess the f&f were right on the money with that one lmao.gif I didnt realize u could actually get flames out the exaust unless really agressive cams and runing to rich. anyways sounds like u got lucky on that one.
of course the 01s r going to be more expensive just because newer cars r more expensive; even if they have the same milage options etc

I read about the change 5 years ago when the 2001 Tibs first came out (unfortunately I threw the magazine away a long time ago). Here's an article with the changes, read the part on 2001. It's nothing major.

It's been a long time since I read up on it, but I think the difference was that the solid engine mounts were replace with hydraulic ones.

Went through my MicroCat and only difference is 1st and 2nd Gen Autos have different mounts, and manual are all the same for all the years

From my observations, i beleive that only SX models do not have painted mirrors (generally). Ive never seen an FX/SFX without painted mirrors. Im not 100% sure but that is what ive noticed.
