what is the difference between the tib 2000 and 2001? they seem identicle! atleast the body does anyway, im not to sure about the interior but if any of you kno that would be awesome thanx!

No, there are several differences.
The 01's had all the options except for ABS, stock. Well, almost.
Like the 97's thru 99's, they are the same car with minor differences.

do you have an 00 or 01? or are you planning to buy one of those?

I have a late 01 and the shifter base is the same. The 01's have a lot of little extras like the center armrest, painted mirrors, etc. I noticed the 01's didn't come with a glovebox lock though.

There are probably lot more differences among the 96 through 99 crowd than the 2000 and 2001s.
I still find it odd that later cars do not have a lock on their glove box.

well that makes me mad... I've always wished my morrors were painted, imo itd look a lot nicer. the thing is, i DO have a 2001.... why wouldnt mine be painted if all of the rest of them were!? screwed again...
