both windows wouldint roll up or down..
Ok..
So i check the fuse in the engine bay... worked fine and had voltage.
I checked the fuse in the interior fuse box... worked fine and had voltage.
I checked the harness that leads to the door.... NO VOLTAGE.
drivers side door harness
Then i started removing the fuse box cover and i started following the cables, and somewhere along the way the windows started moving.
I moved the wires a bit and the windows started working.
Everything worked fine except i cant roll the passengers side window up from the drivers side.
From the passengers side, the window is capable of going up and down.
From the drivers side, the drivers side window can go up and down. The passengers can only go down.
I checked the passengers side door harness for changes in voltage while the drivers side switch is being applied and had no luck.
Any ideas?
Does anyone know where that stupid power window relay is at? Im thinking it could be that. If its between the drivers side door harness and the fuse box then it definantly might be it...... or just a serious coroded wire.
Honestly i dont know what i touch.. i know i applied force to the ECU harness (that attaches to the ECU), and shortly after the stupid windows started working.
In the past could of weeks. Every now and then my passenger side window would fail,... after about 5 secs of patience of a couple of tries it would work again, regardless of which switch was being used.
The only thing i can think of is the power window relay.
Can someone tell me where that bastard is at so i can check for corrosion? Can someone also help me out with the stupid passengers side window not rolling up from the passengers side?
I do have shop manual that includes the pin numbers for the switch harnesses.

jaws, i am actually having that exact problem right now. pass side window will only roll up with pass. side switch. schematics wise, i cant locate the problem. its gotta be a break in the wiring somewhere.
this happened after i installed my winodow roll up&down modules, but i know everything was hooked up correctly. i already tried replacing window switches and that didnt help at all.

Thats funny.. my windows roll up with my alarm.
They worked fine for about 2 years though.
I dont think its related though. My alarm taps into the power window wires INSIDE the door panel. Im not even getting voltage at the door harness.
Either its the stupid relay, or a corroded wire (which ive had before,.... stupid lambo doors).
Anyone know where that dam relay is?
Anyone have access to HMAservice?

you have access to hmaservice. go look in the DIY forum stickies. wink1.gif
i know mine is a break somewhere in the circuit. there is no continuity between the wire on the driver side and passenger side(and no relays or anything inbetween), so it must have been something i f***ed with.
