Okay I looked but didnt find what I was looking for so if it is here, just give me the link to it and I appologize. But Im making a custom intake and I was just wandering were the best place to put the filter location would be. Currnetly it sits belowe the car but Im affraid Ill suck up water, would It be better to go behind a fog light, low on the front bumper, or inside the fender? Someone please help. Pics are MORE than welcome.

do you have 2 sets of fog lights? if not that means you have those little gills/ slotted area lol...behind that would be very good. thats where the AEM CAI sits. and the bottom is protected so water cant just spalsh up.

just put it in the normal CAI location (in the path of outside air, but buy a heat shield which will deflect any water that might come in through the front bumper

You can also enlarge the hole under the battery trey and run a pipe through there. You can then connect the filter through the fender weld. It's a bit of work but you only have one bend in the pipe.

The way mine is set up you don't need a 90 degree bend. It is only a 65 degree bend with is less restrictive.

cold Nova Scotian air pumped straight in.






,,no water(perferated flex pipe,in fender),forced air ,(need my fogs in)backside of battery and pipe cold to the touch, big diff in low end power! works awesome.,Was gonna make a heat sheild for the filter,but dont need it... someone said this was'nt a cai????....whatever.....
