Default If/when the CVVT Beta comes out

Does anyone know/ speculate whether Beta I and II owners will be able to use that head on our motors. I'm just thinking that NA mods might be more worthwhile if this were the case. I'd also hold off on doing any head work for the time being.

I thought they already made the CVVT for anything DOHC. I'd also like to know (supposing the previous statment is true) if the heads would work for my Accent. I have a friend of a friend who is heading to Korea and i'm sending him with a shoping list.

I don't recall ever hearing the CVVT setups were in production; I have heard they are in prototype stages and a small handful are sitting on engine stands being beaten upon by Hyundai engineers.

Last I recall, the earliest one of these motors was going to (potentially) see production for a North American vehichle was the 2005 model year.

But would one be able to go to Korea and get them when the come out there since more than likely they'll come out before 2005? In Korea i mean.

To settle a friendly dispute, would it be better/easier to turbo a CVVT Beta or a regular Beta?

so us standard beta's would probably require a new ecu if we changed, assuming they're not just going to be compatible with the betaII's.

oh well.
