When I push on my TPS nothing happens. When I take it off, the idle rpm's go up a bit, that's all.

Still good or maybe bad TPS? I hate to go buy one and have it not be my problem.

That's why you go buy one from Autozone and then return it if it didn't do the job.

What's the name on the side of yours? Daesung or Keifco?

Mine's a Keifco.

I was under the assumption that once you installed a part like that, you couldn't return it. I guess that's for things like fuel pumps (or maybe you CAN return fuel pumps... if they're not defective).

I figure you can return just about anything if it's defective but if the TPS doesn't fix my problem, the part I bought wouldn't be defective. Therefore I assumed you were kinda stuck with it.

Just take it back in and tell them it didn't fit. Simple. I return stuff all the time, just don't abuse it, get it greasy/dirty, and most any place will still take something back as long as it wasn't USED. Hell, we went and rented a clutch alignment tool from Autozone when we did my clutch, from a BRAND NEW clutch kit, just brought it back a few hours later.
