Ohh man, that happend to me once. I hit a dead skunk on the passanger side and unfortunately, my friend had his window down...PEEEU!!! as far as removing it, try washing your car at the carwash..use the highpressure spray on the area that you hit the skunk. I think there's stuff for sale to remove the odor..try a search, maybe you can find a homemade remedy.

tomato juice is about the only thing i've ever heard of...my windows were up it was last night.
it was pretty dark on a back road i saw a little thing wiggling in the road i thought it was just like a leaf blowing around (probably because all i could see was the white stripe, the black blended in) i just kept going and then i heard CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK and i smelled it.
i was pissed.
damn it smells too.

I would definatly start with the carwash.. unlike a person or an animal, your tib does not have pores that the oil{?} can seep into... so a good hard scrubbing at the wash should remove most of the smell.
Though you remind me of a funny story.. Friend of mine hit a skunk with his harley.. the rear wheel flipped it up into the air and it landed in his lap. We didn't go near him for a week and he wound up throwing his leathers out.
