I have searched this forum for a the past 2 days and have found nothing on how to get rid of the bell that goes on when the door is open and i really want to get rid of this because it is freaking annoying but i dont want the light on the door to go off. Can someone please help me??

ok, remore the plastic cover under the dash and open ur door. u listen for the sound and remove the chime and tada no more sound.

rd1tib will that get rid of all the chimes? like the lights on, set belt not on, and the door? Or is that just the door chimer since each chime is a little different

i think the light chime is different. i like that chime cuz it helps but cant stand the door.

hmm im not sure. haha i took the chime off right after i bought the car cause the door chime was so annoying haha. well i guess it got rid of all the chimes cause its quiet when i take off the belt and everything haha. its been soo long i dont even know.

heheh, well tonight I'm going to tackle the task and I will give you all the update whether or not it gets rid of all the chimes.

if i remember correctly it was a blue box under the dash that you unplug

my other tib i had it came with no door chime, only a light chime. i removed the blue box on the tib i have now but havent had it running yet so i dont know what happened

odd.. my door chime only came on if the keys were in the ignition.. but my tib never had a headlight chime, I wish it had though.

My car's chime comes on only if <u>both</u> the <u>driver's side door is open</u> & <u>the headlights are on</u>... It's to remind you to turn off the lights before leaving the vehicle.
