Re: Is this a good Deal?
ok cool thaks for your guys opinions. I think i will end buying the 2.5 Exaust, Airram, BBTB 61-62mm (whichever one the Rside is),1.8 Intake cam, and maybe a Safc II. These will all later work with a turbo correct? This way i can get some power out of my car now and still have the option of going turbo later without having to get rid of anything. (other then my CAI)

Timing Belt Help
Buy a crank pulley instead of the 1.8L cam. wink.gif Better/equivalent results and quicker install. 2.5in exaust will be nice for a turbo, but for N/A, it will slow you down. You will loose a lot of torque but you will gain power in the 5000rpm region. If you wanna be sure that you don't waste money, buy an aluminum flywheel, IM,TB, suspension, brakes, lsd....but no internals or exaust, unless you want to go supergarged.

Ehh, don't buy the pulleys for awhile.

Go with your plan.

Re: stock oem crank and rods
I found the faster install to be the 1.8 cam.. less than an hour... crank pulley (along with the timing belt) took several hours as there are a LOT of little bolts you can barely get to.

Re: Oil pressure q
buy a standalone,
if your serious about tuning. either or turbo or NA it would be a great item to have.
sure you don't get to show it off but it'l be the best thing in the long run.
could even gain hp without even modding your stock parts.
other wise save up as if you were a virgin... wink.gif

Re: 97-99 HY Tiburon ARK N2 Exhaust system (sus)
Stand alone is great and all but if your state is like MD for emissions it wont go too well..... Any car with an OBD2 HAS TO BE TESTED with the OBD system. Problem with the stand alone is you cant connect into it. Get the emanage it is the best thing you can get in regards to a piggy back.
The 1.8L CAM was easy and took less than 30 minutes to install. The crank pulley on the other hand is a pita. I'll probably just pay someone to do it cause I dont feel like fkin with it (already have one thats not installed).

Re: Redzmans Birthday - Dec 9th
crank pulley is one of those "might as well do it with the timing belt" kind of jobs as the stock pulley has to come off anyway to get to the belt.

Re: anyone like any of these?
ok well thanks guys..... now i've got the plan, time to get the parts. I'll get my exaust first. and i guess i'll save up and install the BBTB, Airram and 1.8 intake cam all at the same time.
