I'm looking for a 2.25" high flow catalytic converter to order tonight so that I get it by Friday. I don't know much about catalytic converters. Will this work alright? I'm looking for a clean smelling exhaust with minimal restriction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94105-Magna...sspagenameZWDVW

I don't know if that will fit under the car. This one will. It looks like it has comparable ratings, but I'm not sure if it's of any quality.

Just so you know those will not be nearly as effective as OEM. Thats why OEM ones cost a lot, even just as scrap. The Magnaflow would be a ton better than the other one and should fit fine. You can twist it also.

Did you ruin your cat? Or just doing it because? If your cat is good you can get big money for it at a scrap yard.

Not sure if it's good or not. I'm trying to widen my pipe. I've got 2.25 the whole way except for the cat and a small portion of exhaust tube where the o2 sensor is located.

Wait, you're not saying you kept stock pipe so you still had the 02 plugin there, are you?

no, I have a catalytic converter and the 2nd o2 sensor is right where I relocated it from the header install. I figured I'd wait until I changed the catalytic converter to change that pipe and bung.

2.0 please. I don't want to try to deal with a 1.8 swap right now. I don't need to add extra problems.

It's got a picture of Mario Andretti ON THE BOX!!! Logically it must be good hail.gif

Magnaflow has probably some of the best quality catalytic converters (aftermarket, that is) that you can buy. The only other good brand I'd recommend is Walker.
