i have cams close to 264° (can remember the exact numbers) in my car right now,
idle does have a rough in it but nothing major you really need to tune them in to get the full gains.
i had to remove my smt6 this week to do some testing on my car and i can tell you that the fuel correction and timing correction are needed,my car doesn,t rev like it does usually, power past 4000 is reduced
another nice touch is a higher rev limiter

I will probably buy an MSD DIS II setup before I get the cams, to take care of the ignition timing problem. Sorry for being slightly off-topic, but the MSD just piggybacks off of the stock ecu right? Shouldn't be too hard of an install? With that I can control the ignition timing side of it, then I can add fuel with the SAFC II. Since the SAFC only affects the WOT mixture, will the cruising mixture be lean? Thanks guys. cool.gif

Why bother getting an msd unit plus an safc? An safc is crap on our cars. Yes, the cruising mixture will not be optimal.
It is much cheaper and much better to get an smt-6 that will do both (timing, fuel mixture) and a whole lot more. wink1.gif

if you want good tuning for our cars instead of getting SAFC MSD combo, you misewell go for the Emanage with the harness's. itll be much cheaper, and with the ECU fix you can adjust ignition timing, and its ALOT better than SAFC. you have 16 X 16 maps for all parts of tuning.. air flow correction, injectors, and ignition. also have stuff for boost, Engine stall, etc.
and 264 seem like the best idea since to tune your car right, you will need to tune anything lower than 264 anyways, besides the 1.8L cam.
