Why do you want to put a dual exhaust on a 4 cylinder car? Or are you talking about only attaching the second tip on the rear of the kit? If you put a dual exhaust on your car, it'll kill your performance. Unless you're strictly going for looks and don't care about performance, then dual exhausts are okay. Otherwise, stay away from it. wink

nah, he could do dual exhaust.
it would have to be done right.
dood, the cuda never used a real dual exhaust.
it was just an exhaust tip.
if you look in some of the pics you can see nothing behind it.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>What about attaching a fake pipe to go along with the fake tip? That way most people won't be able to tell.</div>Unless you had fake exhaust coming out too, then you would still be able to tell. The best thing to do would be to run a Y pipe after the muffler. I haven't looked underneath my Tib though to see if this is even possible.

I had an idea but it might be completely off. I think the tib has like 2 inch piping or something like that. My idea was to use a smaller diatmeter piping to help with the back pressure. If this works, i don't know, it was just and idea.

That's only truly useful if you have 2 separate exhaust headers, like a 3/3 arrangement on a V6 or 4/4 on a V8. The pinch point for your exhaust flow will still be the conversion point, the 4/1 or 2/1(for 4/2/1 headers) merge point. After that, every in-line disturbance--elbows, flanges, resonators, cats, mufflers, and yes also splitters--only act to increase flow resistance.
