That CAI intake got more WHP than anything in the market for less then 50% of the cost of an AEM.
Speaking of AEM... AEM got a hold of a Random special before they designed their version... so guess what the AEM intake looks like... wink1.gif

The random special is no longer in production.

HVE made their own headers... the huar..whatever are different, unless they copied HVE.

Sure, Chris, you can use those pics...BTW, how'd you like to swap...my Motoria rear section for one of your HKS? fingersx.gif (hey, I had to take a shot)

I just recently tossed the piping from my ol' R/S-CAI; loved that thing, especially after we dyno'd it on Tony's car many moons ago.

...and yes, the headers are HVE, the axle-back is HKS...both great parts.

Thats where its at, just so you know. Thanks man. I can run a group buy for exhausts, or headers for the elantra guys. They might be able to get you something full. Do Elantra's have the same exhaust? I never thought about it?

Uhm, isn't the HKS exhaust like 3 feet long and a muffler?

I wouldn't want it. FULL exhaust.

HKS SuperDrager rear section? Is that the axleback that is sold for the 97-99? I suppose it's got the drager muffler on it. And that DID fit your stock exhaust ammoman on your RD2?

2kShark: As far as I know, that exhaust is the axle-back advertised for RD2, and yes, it bolted right up to the stock pipe with no "tweaks" necessary. I remember it being mentioned a while back that this will bolt up to a 1stGen with no problems, but it could have been the other way around (that the part is for 97-99, but bolts up to a 2ndGen).
