Jay-M.
You are the winner! tongue.gif
I tried everything y'all suggested. Nothing worked, until I removed the ballast from where I had mounted it, away from touching metal. So far both lights are coming on, everytime. So now my new question, is where is a good place to mount it? I would check through the garage/gallery for underhood pics, but apparently it's not working right now. 02.gif
Any mounting suggests for the drivers side ballast?

awesome!! yep Jay-M, our good HID man got it. mounting?! easy. take out the battery and there should be a little snug place for it on the side wall right behind the corner signal. i didn't even mount mine. you can use double sided tape.

I just checked there, and I see a little grey box that says "VCV (korean babble)" mounted there. Did you mean to mount the ballast below that? And what is that box anyway? o_O

that's the daytime running light module. remove the connection, and your daytime running lights will turn off!

hope those pics help
Oh also, to insulate it i recommend using this http://tst.glad.com/pressnseal/: wrap it all around. It works like a charm and the mounting is solid!!!

I know there are 2 types of HIDs - for negative ground and for positive ground.
If you have wrong HID you need to insulate it. Maybe you need to insulate ballast?

Ohh... when I have some spare time and more ambition... I like your idea Tibby01. Definately looks cleaner. Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. smile.gif
