Hids Acting Up

Purple is not a color temperature. The color spectrum goes from red to yellow, white, blue. Red is the lowest temp and blue is the highest. Purple is created by adding additional metals into the HID and creating a purplish tint by doing that. But, it is no longer a color temperature. You can also get purple by checking out my DIY on making headlights brighter. Spray some purple in there and i gaurantee it will come out purple.

lol, I know it's not a temperature. I have 6000k right now, I just want them to look exactly as they do now.
Hey, do you think these would work? Looks to me like they will but I don't wanna waste my money.

Also, that DIY is an awesome idea. I just don't know if I'll feel like opening my headlights again for the 8 billionth time, haha.

tell me about it. the space is tight back there but if you have your HID's drilled through the caps it shouldn't be a problem. it's the bulb gone bad i think.
it could also be the ballast depending on the quality. for the bulb, you'll have to get one from the same company. i forgot everything i've ready about HID's, but i remember there are different sizes and outputs.
sorry, it's way too technical for me not to get paid for understanding.

Yeah those should work. I'd still check with Jay-M to make sure he can't get you a better quality deal.
Does this "backed by dedicated staff " look like a sweat shop?
