The problem is that high flow cats are universal. When I purchased mine I had a shop make me new flanges for each side. Then had pipe welded to the flanges and then clamped them onto the new CAT. Overall it is the same size as the stock CAT. Yes they do help if you have headers and exhaust. I bought my Car-Sound one from Full Line Exhaust. It was one of the best prices I could find for a full stainless.

Car-Sounds are great hi-flows. I'd recommend those. The cat is a major restriction, even in the stock exhaust. I've heard of some throwing CELs because they don't clean enough to make the 2nd o2 happy, so I'd check into that.

Have you had any problems with it not going into closed loop fast enough on cold mornings? I can't figure out my random CEL, it only happens when I start it up in sub freezing temps, and goes away after several restarts when the car is warm.

I bought a universal 2.25" carsound cat on ebay for under $60 shipped. Look into one with an 02 bung built in though, it should come out cheaper than getting one put in seperately.

Hmm... I don't know what that CEL could be. Only advice I would have is buy a OBD-II reader from like Wal-Mart, read the CEL, and take it back. lol.gif I'm assuming it probably goes away after you drive for a bit, so taking it to the nearest Autozone or free reading place it may go away before you get there.

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? I wouldn't bother putting a hi-flow on a stock exhaust, when you might replace the exhaust later and the hi-flow wouldn't fit.

If you have a high flow, any one of them will work that matches your pipe size. For instance, I have 2.5inch piping. So I would get a 2.5inch in/2.5inch out cat.
