So the other day I noticed that I was not getting much air blowing on my face like it usually does.It seems like my vent knob is not changing the vent over from defrost position.Anybody have this problem before?Larrs

your front vent next to the windshield? can you be a bit more specific?

hmm... i donno. did you try messing with all of the buttons? there's a button that makes it suck or blow air.

Yea I mean the flap that deflects the air for your feet/body/and defrost(front window)doesn't work. The hot/cold knob and the off/1/2/3/4 fan knob works fine.Larrs

that happened to my friends car as well, 3rd speed doesn't work. i don't know what it could be, and i don't want to lead you in the wrong direction but there's a pressurized wire loom attached to it that controls that stuff.

it could be the something wrong with the pressure thing. i have no idea how that works.

Not that I like profiting from someone else's trouble, but if you end up taking your dash apart to look at the backside of your controls, I -really- need a picture of someone else's vacuum line connections.

Keep me in mind if you do rip it apart. laugh.gif

So I found out the problem. One of the hoses I changed over from black to red came undone. This hose I guess is attached to the deflector door for the air vents to function. It was disconnected from the I.M.As soon as I saw this I had guessed that that was the problem, and sure enough the vent blows air wherever I set it. :fing02:All fixed Larrs
