Since their are so many options in regards of Headers, I just wanted to start a topic and hope to solve some of my questions. oops.gif

Anways I have a 2000 tiby 5Spd, Looking to get a set of Headers.
I hear that OBX headers u want to Avoid. SSautochrome Headers are nice but fade/may need to trim tranny cover to fit. Other then that the headers on hp.com tend to be pricey! I'm just looking for a set to Bolt on and not cause me too much trouble. I also hear that some ppl have the CEL light come on in their vehicle once they install their new Exhaust system with intake. Also my vehicle has 60k left on warrenty and wanted to know if anyone has trouble with dealership conflict. I live in Phx/Tucson,AZ, Thanks ahead of time for all your info. laugh.gif

Just though I would add this info in. Considering MBRP Exhaust...

Hey, another AZ'er 8O

I bought some used SSA 4-2-1 headers off ebay, should be getting them soon, I can let you know how it goes, but I'm sure others can tell you more.

And I hear the MBRP exhaust is LOUD.

Check out http://www.mikekemper.com/elantra/exhaust/exhaust.html for tips on a custom exhaust.

its really hard to find a shop that does mandrel bent, and if you do it will be expensive!!!

as for the header get 4-1 stainless steel off the ebay, you will be happy with the fitment and performance!

If you can afford better, Kspec is going to be having a header group buy soon.
