well finnaly got rid of my crashed tib. put my hatch on my new fixxer upper tib and it wont shut. its not bent at all so i cant figure it out. the shock on the left is on. the right on has the nut stripped to put it on so am still working on that. anyway it wont shut it is ligned up perfect and all. i push it down and it just wont go. its about an inch to high. any ideas? do both shocks have ot be on for some reason? i tryed no shocks and still wont work? what do ya think? thanks

Is/was the new tib wrecked? It could be some body warpage.

See if adjusting the latch works. Kind of like a hood to where it won't latch if the catch is off center.

at first i thought u were posting pics of the problem, then i noticed that was ur sig, lol. lmao.gif

i would bet its either the latch, warpage, or the plastic and foam damper things on each side of the trunk
