Just wondering if the RD's have a fuel shut off in case of wreck? I've looked in the manual but I don't see anything and was just wondering.

once you loose power you the pump shuts down... now if you want to shut everthing down i know that sparco make a battery on off switch... if you want go get you some 0 gadge amp wire and run the ground in to your cab and mount it where ever you want... instant off...LOL
remember even if you do that your fuel lines are still under pressure...

it is easy enough to install. Go to a junk yard and buy a fuel pump shut off from ANY ford. Ever since the Pinto problem, all fords have fuel cut off in case of an accident.

Ok I got my answer. I was just wondering if it had one. My old ford had one and I was wondering if the Tib had one too. Thanks.

Fords use a relay of sorts.. it is a small steel ball that makes the connection to power the pump. Under the extreme acceleration (or deacceleration) of an accident, it breaks the circut by popping out of it's indentation.
