yah the ecu was scanned when the dealer was looking at the starting issue, and nothing came up.

I cleaned the TB and all the hoses seem to be in working order with no holes or plugs, or leak that i can see

The PCV valve is about a $5-$10 part. It screws into the back of the valve cover and connects to the intake manifold. If you look at the back of the valve cover you will see two hoses. One goes to the intake manifold and the other goes to the elbow before the throttle body. If you take off the hose forom the valve cover to the intake manifold you will see the PCV valve. If it is not operating correctly then it could be allowing too much or not enough air into the intake manifold through the valve cover (which would severly heat up your valve cover if you didnt have enough). I would say try replacing it. Usually replace them about every 75k miles or so give or take.

The only real way to test it is by the fuel pressure in the rail. You would need to connect a pressure gauge between the fuel rail and the fuel filter. If it is the correct pressure even at idle then your pump is working correctly. The pump puts out the same amount of fuel regardless of what throttle you are at. Just at lower throttle or at idle the FPR is sending a lot of the fuel back through the return line.
