OK I want to replace my fuel filter in the AM. I only have 2 ?'s for this.

1. where exactly is the fuel filter located? I looked on Webtech for the proper way to change it but they have a really bad picture of the area where its located.

2. how do I remove the rear seat cushion so that I can disconnect the harness from the fuel pump?

And if anyone knows off hand a part #/brand for the replacement filter.

Thanks!

1. Engine bay. I have no idea where, usually on the firewall. Follow the fuel lines to whatever looks like in the picture. Also, might wanna search, this was asked about not to long ago.

2. Very easy. Stand in the back of your car bent over. Pull up sharply on each side of the seat. They'll pop out.

3. Autozone or Napa will have a part #.

Re: the rear seat

My seat was bolted down in 2 places. There is a little metal loop that a bolt goes through that then connects to the body. The bolts are on the back of the seat, about in the middle of each side. Just take your hand and run it down between the upright and bench parts of the seat and you should be able to see where it is bolted down. Once you find them, I think it was a 14 mm bolt. How I was not too confusing.

Well, that's if you want to REMOVE the seats. You can access what he needs to just by popping up the front section.

I dont know about the RD2 but in the RD1 it is located in the engine bay on the drivers side - below the wiper motor area.
