Dang, with my stop-and-go I get about 31-33 MPG. But all of my driving is at a 3,200 RPM max.

I redline mine more often than not and I get 21-25 mpg all in town.

^^ Don't you just love the feeling of shifting from 1st at 5Krpm -> 2nd at 3,800RPM with full throttle? I love the sound.

Yeah, now that I've installed my CAI (my first performance mod, btw fing02.gif), I have a new understanding of this. I LOVE that sound. I'm curious to see how my mileage is going to be (if I can keep out of the throttle long enough).

Like some other people said, check that your front calipers are working, check alignment, and:

check tires. What size tires are you using? If they're smaller than stock your economy will be down. Also, if they're nearly worn out, that will knock a little economy off. What rims are you using, and how much do those weigh? Heavy rims need more engine power to accelerate them.

Hope you get this figured out!

Tires

Cooper Zeon W-Rated tires, 17x205x45, bout 3k miles on them.
Rims are about 18lbs a piece
Enkei Evo-6 17"

The car drives straight and fine, I am going to do a big brake thing with the xG350 calipers and the spectra rotors soon. One of my rotors or bearings or ssomething is squeaking when I first take off until like 5 mph every time I move. My front passenger side rotor is grooved. But that shouldn't make a 100+ miles per tank difference...

That sound could be pads. See if your mileage differs after replacing the components with the BBK. Also, a can of fuel system cleaner like Techron might do something.

When you come to a stop on level ground, if you let go of the brake pedal before you are completely stopped, will the car still stop itself?

DO THE BBK, you will love it.
