Ok so I finally got my headers put in. SSA autochrome.
first off woooow are they loud, and second off woow does this car go faster.
Its only an automatic but there is a noticble difference.

Only question is yea I know they get hot, but it smells like burning when i first drove it. is that normal ? it seems like the smell is going away tho the more I drive it.

i see..

i know they are loud, but not in a good way..

and i think your brain is telling you its faster cuz its louder, cuz you wouldn't be able to really feel a speed increase.

swap to a manual, then you will notice a good increase in speed.

yeah, itll smell like that for a little while, and then itll go away.

try wrapping the headers...that will keep the temp down under the hood....but you will have a bad smell with that too for a while.

^^^yes there is you can go with a nice 28"+ resonator. i have a 30incher i got from autozone and the sound diffrence is just night and day. mine was just part of a stock system from some v-8 truck and the guy never picked it up so they cut out the resonator and sold it to me for 20 bucks.
