As unbelievable as it sounds, my idle's been rough in the cold, rougher in the damp climate.

I popped the hood and saw a spark jump from wire 3 to wire 4. This has happened before but the problem seemed to disappear. They have a jacket on them too!

It's back. Im pretty sure it's a faulty wire(s) causing this.

Anyone have a set of good condition stockers they can loan me till PRD sends replacements?

PRD wires have a lifetime warrentee on them. they will replace them free of charge if you have any issues.

I know. But they won't give replacements to you till you actually send them the wires. Problem is, my stockers melted to their death. Hence the PRDs

No worries, I owed you a bit anyways.

LOL

BTW, you should have your coils tested to make sure everything is good. Also, I'd get your alternator tested just to make sure there is nothing wrong.

Sure, the black coating on my stock wires "melted" and the wire material was visible. On another wire, the coating broke off.

Needless to say, that led to some misfiring

Tell me about it. PRDs were more than welcome. Didn't expect them to cause problems though.
