I will try the things you said, it sounds like i will find my problem in there somewhere. Yes i do have new guage faces, but theyve been there for several years and yes it works. I wasnt even going off of that (the guage) temp sensor tho, I was going from feel. I opened the hood and you would not believe the temp of that engine bay, I am not exaggerating either. Ive never seen an engine that hot

make sure of the obvious first ... make sure it's plugged into the connector properly and that the fuses are good.
if all that seems fine do what random said .. hit the power on the fan with 12V and see if it responds.
