Yup. With the correctly colored bulbs, often the reflection in the mirrored housing will be enough that they won't look 2 times.
The tails I have have a thick ass red lens in them, so it looks like I've got reflectors there.
Of course, we don't have vehicle inspections either. Just the occasional Emissions testing in one county.

thanks for all the advice guys...latest update: i switched the bulbs reluctantly on my front blinkers to amber so those should be good...just not to sure what to do about the tails. Ive pretty much decided that i want to keep the tails but im not sure how im going to get them to pass. Would reflective tape work? Ugh im new to this guys sorry

Read the above man, plenty of ideas. I'd just go buy some magnetic reflectors, pop em on, go and get inspected.
