This following week I will be fabricating my own strut bars on a cnc machine at work. If everything turns out well I will snap some pics of the finished product and if work is slow I could take custom orders for strut bars with an air ram since there is a demand for those with no one to supply.

I'll keep you guys posted and if my strutbar turns out to perfection then I'll let you guys decide if you want one for the air ram or not.

If you need any help with something let me know, I can do some on my cnc lasers at work, we also have two new press breaks if any bending is required, I allready made new brakets to get my strutbar around the air ram intake.

Great news. Cant wait to see the final product. Are you looking at doing both front and back or just the front (with Airram of course)?

What would be cool is if you could get it to mount to the firewall too, or the front clip. Just some kind of 3 point brace.

I will be doing front and back. Front will be for the air ram.

I need someones help for dimensions that has an air ram

Measurements as follows.

From the tip of the strut how high is the air ram.
How long is the air ram
|-------airram---------|

If I need any more measurements I will ask.

I was also thinking of being able to tighten down the strut bar for even better control but my one idea I have might not work with the air ram in place. I will look furthur into that. Let me know what you guys think about being able to adjust the bar length.

I dont understand completly what measurments you need. The width part I understand. Its the fron the tip of the strut how high is the airram that I am not sure on.

Jon I took a look in the engine bay, and having a 3 point brace will be difficult to pull off. Our firewall is very thin, I don't see much sence in having a brace connecting to it. If someone has a picture of a 3 point strut bar please share or knows a location for the 3rd point that would help aswell.

Admin or mod: could you add "air ram" into the title. Thanks.

To get around the airram.. I would suggest a two part strut bar. One piece that goes FORWARD of the airram and dirrectly connects the strut tops together.. and a second part that goes almost immediatly to the firewall (with a slight angle towards the centre of the car) and then a long beam that runs along the firewall with multiple connections to it.
