F2 converted rd2 FS for scrap!
I saw this picture while browsing for my door sills on some random car sale site. 14 years of looking at Tiburons, I noticed something strange about this one.
Can you see it? YES it's wide! Automatically, I said to myself this MUST be the historic RD2 WIDEBODY rally conversion. This is the first time I've seen pictures of it since it was converted!! The wheelbase has also been extended outward. You can put 225/55/17's on that!
I would buy this in an instant if I had the choice, drive it to Poland ...and convert it back to F2. Unfortunately it's RHD, but ahh the temptations of swapping it with my car oooh it's like dream come true.

$3,218 USD. 24,000 miles. WTF?! I'd be on this faster than a homeless guy to cocaine.

Heyyyy DTN!!!
Correct! I have a lot of friends both in Ireland & England, a sister in England, and loads of friends i grew up with who make trips back and fourth. The reason I didn't ask for an F2 wing is because i like the shark spoiler better, and i could never send my friends hunting the scrappers for some sills when I can wait for ebay. My parents are telling me to go for it! I could pick it up and drive it back home, store it in the garage until I finish school. I emailed him and asked him about the possibility of holding it until about May when I can fly over, buy it, and drive it back home through the English Channel tunnel.
It's a bit risky, and a long route across Europe, but I've driven there before. All I need is GPS. It's a big possibility that I can acquire this car though. It would be a dream come true! Of course a possible RD1 conversion, and some tasteful improvements as well. I would have to buy O.Z. Superturismos immediately, find the original rally wing, and get some big mud flaps back on.
