i've heard of stories where the bearing go early and often. i just had my car checked out thoroughly because i ordered rims, and i wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong w/ my car before i invested in rims.
luckily everything is all good laugh.gif
sucks to hear about the bearings. go to your nearest Sears Auto. the part has lifetime gaurentee, with 6mo/6000 mile warranty on labor. that lifetime part gaurentee is hard to pass up!! if it goes bad again, you won't have to pay for it!

wheel bearings don't cost much at all, do they? Pretty simple change out if I'm not mistaken? I could imagine it's a PITA dealing with all the time though.

Make sure you get a dust cap / boot when you get your bearing and snap ring replaced
The dust boot's part # is 49548-25000A
Helps keep dust and dirt outta there.
Was NOT in the Car from the factory, so this was an after thought for Hyundai.

I just put new rear wheel bearings in the rear, at 80k, it cost me $350 for both rear hubs. They were easy to install though. I researched on the front ones, and they look like a PITA. The rears had dust caps from the factory but the fronts didn't. I was wondering why they would do that, gonna go down later this week and get some for the front.
