Re: exhaust
Wish I could sound-clip mine but I'm technologically illiterate when it comes to digital video cameras, recorders, etc. Even if I did tape it I'd probably be lost converting it to .mpg or something. lol.gif

Re: Hello from Melbourne in Oz...
I would go to a muffler/exhaust shop and get your own exhaust. What type of bend is up to you, what type of material is up to you, I'm not getting in any more exhaust arguments. lol.gif
Pick a high quality, brand-name muffler. Thats where most of the sound is going to come from. If you want a mellow, not loud sound... Magnaflow are great mufflers. Take it to them and tell them that you want 2.5inch piping from the cat-back using this muffler. Shouldn't be more than 100-200 bucks for the piping.

^^^^ That's the BEST recommendation you can follow. There are various brands of exhausts, some top notch, others not as good. But pipe is pipe, what matters there is the design of it, (pipe diameter, bend Type, resonators or glasspacks, etc). The difference between a Stainless Steel 2,5" mandrel bent pipe, and a galvanized steel pipe of the same characteristics in performance would be infinitesimally ridiculous, if there is any, and you don't need a pipe that is going to last 20 years. Spend your money on other things that will make a difference, and the list can be huge, AFTER you don't have anywhere else to spend your money, go for a complete exhaust. (Please note I am NOT talking about the muffler, because THAT IS important.)

Re: David from Kspec.com OWNING a GK.
The Apexi N1 sounds very good. It's just the muffler, but it's nice and DEEP.
