i have the ssa motoria exhaust. looks great. the thing i dont get is that people said that it would be really loud and even with the race converter it isnt very loud>
would headers make it louder and more deeper toned
what headers are good the ssa, kspec, hyundai aftermarket ones
would the new headers work ok with the motoria exhaust
also my biggest concern, as long as their were bungs for the o2 sensors
in the new headers, no cel should be admitted right????'
help me choose headers that hold their finish and arent so thin material that
they buzz bad.

with headers it will be loud as hell. i had the krd one witch is pretty much the same and headers and test pipe and it was louder than hell. a lot loud than civic's but lucky for me i still had my hks rear section. and it has an awesome sound.

I have the OBX headers, and personally I like them alot. They will give you a better, deeper sound. They will work with your exhaust. And all headers will turn a different color, but you can get them poweder coated or wrap them if you dont like the color they turn.

get some headers man from Kspec. make sure to match up the flanges and if they don't have a body show change the flange. if you get headers you will need to move your catalytic convertor to the bottom of the exhaust and then you will need to personally extend your sensors. i wouldn't reccomend all that trouble if you're really unwillilling to mess with the Check Engine Light and making sure all of the wiring on the sensors is correct.

wrong forum for this question...

also, the OBX headers are OK, i had em on my car when it was N/A.. it held up great, and i could feel the difference.. but alotta buzz.. but you cant go wrong for <100$ shipped for a header and DP.

the SSA exhaust.. i have heard mixed reviews, and i personally would never buy one.

take the straight pipe out, its NOT a RACE CAT... not helping you at all, just making it sound worse, and kill small mammals.. lol

the exhaust alone, wont make it ALOT louder, when you get the headers, itll be alot louder, thats where all the noise and buzzing came outta my car when it was N/A

dont bother getting a kspec maintec header, unless you have bunch of extra $$$ to spend on something that wont give you much, if any more of a gain than a set of headers that are 400-500$ less.. with that extra $$$ you could get a lot of stuff..

headers without cat and full exhaust. aah those days haha. i used to pull up to mercades & BMW's at my work and purposefuly set car alarms off. all i had to do was get within one meter of them and give it just a little throttle. haha, one after another you'd see orange blinkers flicking.
