Re: aftermarket parts & stock parts updated & added
I just saw a commercial from Meinke claiming they were having some sort of promotion: "Full Dual Catback Exhaust System $350 installed"
Does anyone know anything else about this?
I'm assuming it's universal..?

Re: Pics of my girl
Eww. Few things...
a)No exhaust is universal, they'll take off your pipes and bend them to same shape
b)Tibby + dual exhaust = no no unless your running Cuda kit (maybe)
c)They have a rep for doing crappy work
d)350 isn't that good of a deal except if its stainless steel mandrel
e)The mufflers that they provide probably stink
My advice. Any exhaust shop is better than there. Well maybe except Midas. lol.gif Generally, non-corporation places do better work for some odd reason. Maybe its because they hire people that don't know what they're doing.
First, buy your own muffler. Own choice. Magnaflow is known for quiet deepness, APexi N1 is more importish. $60-200. Then go to an exhaust shop and get a single catback. Mandrel will run you $200-350 intalled. Press bent $80-120 installed.

Re: VIDEO GAME TRADING POST... *Trades Only, NO SALES*
Yeah, I've heard some midas stories...
Haven't heard anything about Meinke before though, and just saw that commercial so I thought I'd post it. Doesn't using dual exhausts on an RD tib actually decrease performance because of backpressure? or does it entirely depend on the system?

Re: For all you lightweights out there
Mineke isn't that bad, and they are doing single Catback exhausts, Stainless mandrel bends, here in ABQ for $185 installed. You can supply your own muffler or pick one of theirs for extra.
Great deal.
ABQElantra is getting one installed.
