Yeah the MBRP was 2.25. It was $19.95 + 8.00 shipping. Yeah it screams at WOT. It is very deep and took a lot of the sound out of the cabin.

That's what I have. It does make a very noticeable difference in sound level and tone. Even my mechanic was suprised and commented on it (mine is welded in place), and he was the one telling me it wouldn't help with noise.

I think they only come in perforated.

It is clamped in. I had to take a saw and cut the weld and part of the piping off for it to fit. Overall it went in very nicely. Took about 2 hours to do including the cutting of the old one out.

Nice! What size/type was the old one?

For some reason I've got a 2nd mufffler as well as a 24" resonator. I might remove the 2nd muffler & just get a longer glasspack if the sound's nicer.

Mad_john, can I see a pic of your 45 foot glasspack? wink1.gif

I had the built in MBRP resonator. After taking the MBRP one off I found that it was actually louvered. You could barely see through the thing.

OZ you sure you dont mean a second CAT?

Nah, it's definitely another muffler. I've only got one Cat (same place as yours), then an oval mid-muffler, then the resonator, then my rear muffler. I'm told the setup is alright, with good quality components... I just think it's overkill, maybe.

so it probably flows better than the mbrp resonator, and quiets the car down as well huh?

i may have to look into this.
