This basically sums it up. You can do it but unless you are racing at the lapping track then it really serves no purpose. Not every stick driver even knows about double-clutching. I have done it, but our trannies/clutches have been designed to not have to worry about it for everyday driving.

On the other hand mastering this skill won't hurt. Bucking the car loosens it up, and puts wear on the tranny and such. So if you can do it, fine, if you can't don't worry about it.
