Do RD1 and RD2's have the same exact exhaust?
If I were to unbolt a custom fabbed exhaust from an RD2, would it bolt up directly and perfectly to my RD1 or is there different bends and paths for the piping between the 2 gens?
Poked a hole in my piping over the weekend from driving over some rocky terrain. A friend has a custom exhaust on his RD2 that hes willing to give me since hes about to get different piping for his boost project.

For free, you can take it to an exhaust shop and they do $50 worth of work and you're still coming out ahead. I'd snag it regardless, but my hunch says they're going to be the same (I don't know).

I believe the RD2's had two cats and the RD1's had 1. But.....since you are going aftermarket, you should be golden. All the hangers and bends in the piping should work on your RD 1.
