Theres a 2.0 cylinder head im looking to buy
but my engine block is a 1.8
would that fit?
Cause wouldnt 2.0 cams be offset, OR could they be changed to fit on a 1.8 block?
My guess is no i dont want to waste money on the head if it don't fit.

Pretty much the only thing different between the 1.8 and 2.0 head is the intake cam. (exhaust cam is the same) The actual heads themselves are identical. So a 2.0 head will fit on your 1.8 block with no problems. I cant tell you how the 2.0 intake cam will run on a 1.8 block tho, never really heard of anyone doing that but Im sure it will still run tho. Maybe someone else can clear that up tho. Im pretty sure the whole 1.8 head on a 2.0 block and vice versa has been covered before.

The casting is the same, even. It will run, if that's what you're wondering. Just be sure to get the timing right. I put a DIY for setting the timing, somewhere around here . . .
