Generally I'll smash the post flat inside the screw head with a pin set or a drift or something, but like I said I didn't want to have to find a substitute screw or mess up the sensor. Drilling involves clamps and a press, or the risk of damaging the teeth in the screw head. The dremel cut-off is pretty easy to do, with little risk of damage to the screw or sensor unless you fail.

I have a simple rule... Always use the proper tool. Might explain the size of my toolbox.

You can get a 30 or so bit set that comes with the proper tools, for less than $5 at most Ace Hardwares or Harbor Freight.

Made in _______

That's the problem.

I WON'T buy any more Chinese-manufactured tools. That usually means 2-5x the price or more. Fun fact: every dollar you spend on Chinese goods is adding to their military budget. Those who are paying attention to who our friends are will note that this is NOT a good thing.

I used to agree about Chinese tools. However, even Snap-On, Mac, Matco and Craftsman all have tools made in China/Taiwan now. It's damn-near impossible to buy USA made tools. I do whenever I can though. I've probably spent enough on tools to pay cash for a Z06.

EDIT: Most of my tools are Craftsman, Mac or small USA makers, like Lisle.

95% of my tools are Craftsman, but I've got a friend that is a manager of the local Harbor Freight, I get stuff from there at 20% off the cheapest it has ever sold for.

They work fine for me.

The way I look at it, we are reimporting steel to this country, we'll drive them into bankruptcy by running them out of natural resources!
