hi guys,i checked the fuse box, everything seems fine,

and i checked the dome globe, there is still the metalic string in the globe, so i dnt think its blown... but hopefully il get the chance to chek with another globe, niether of the two lights are working..

so the clock in the dash and the interior light is not workin.. any ideas on what might hav caused this? and any fixes available

also , on FM tuner (stock deck) in ntervals, a wierd beep comes out, and a flashing "TP" in the middle of the display..
anbody able to shed some light?

thanx

additional info:

oh and i should mention, the door "cutesy" lights work, and so does the trunk light, and i think those two are connected via the same fuse, (?? could be wrong)

I had my clock burn out, took out the fuse that also controls the dome lights, which then set the aftermarket alarm off. I forget which fuse it was, but check all of the ones on the inside, it may not be labled as such.

^thanx man, will do

the fuses are fine,
so i cahnged one globe, it worked, then i took the other side out to replace it, but unfortunatelyu i ddnt have another one the same size, so i thought il just leave the existing on in unitl i get some leds to change em both, then it started working =s,, then as i was trying to pusht the cover back on, it stopped, then i took the globe out, to move it around a bit, and it worked again, i replaced the lens carfully, so nopt to bump the wires, but pobably like this it will go off soon.. is thbis a commmon problem?

Its been a problem for me for about a year now. I have no idea what is causing the problem either. When they go out I just have to adjust the lights a little and they will come back on.

Ugh.

It takes 2 more letters to type YOUR, is it really that hard?

Anyways, it is probably a fuse. Yeah, you said it isn't, but it probably is. I've had the same problem before, and the fuses all looked fine, and when I replaced that fuse, the problem went away.

could also be a loose fuse connection, a loose wire, lots of things.

It COULD. Pull the fuses, one at a time, and check each. Check and see if the fuses are fully seating and hitting the contacts. Check each fuse installed with a fuse tester.

Last but not least, go through and replace each fuse, one by one.

That's how I got mine.

man, its weird, the clock started working all of a sudden on its own..
:s

now the only remaining issue is the CD/FM tuner, keeps beeping every 15-20 seconds, and the "TP" symbol on the deck flashes.. its the stock hyundai/phillips one. how can i reset it? dnt really want to change it just yet.
thanx guys

is it in the manual or on webtech anywhere? Never heard of that problem.

Please address the question in your Introduction thread.
