How hard would it be to order the KDM cruise cable and swap it?
How long is the cable (just from the TB to the vacuum pump?)?

I just don't really want to drill OR JB weld my nice BBTB..

It also sorta pisses me off that RSIDE is written on the BOTTOM of my BBTB...lol.

1. you arent touching the bbtb in anyway doing the things mentioned in here.

2. your bbtb is probably on upside down.

Then why did RSide make two pulleys?? It doesn't help us US guys because it doesn't even fit right..

There's no RD Korean Tibs with cruise?

What about euro tibs? I know some of them had cruise, but what does the end of their cruise cable look like? Is it a T or a barrell like ours?

This BBTB is made so that TWO T ends to fit, if only the cruise cable had an end just like the throttle cable, it would be fine.

lol, how do you install a BBTB upside down..the pulleys have to be on the side towards the firewall, and the TPS has to be on the bumper side. There's no way to switch those around..

simple, i typed something up without thinking about it at all. nana.gif

is this really worht sourcing a new cable from some tib over in europe? you're making it tons harder then it needs to be.

lol, that's the first thing when I saw the tb too I was like...wtf I have it upside down? Why is the logo on the bottom? then i thought about it. .. lol. maybe this one's like a defect? REDZ's was on the top.

I dunno, I don't think it would be that difficult to swap the cables? Maybe if it was the throttle cable it would be because it is super long and you'd have to route it through quite a lot of other stuff, but the cruise cable is like 3 feet long, and is pretty simple.
I'm just sort of a perfectionist.

Most likely I'll end up JB kwik welding it.

tibby are you going to jb weld yours or did you drill a dimple? or did you just get it to stick in there without doing either?

Yeah. I want to say that there aren't ANY cars with cruise in Korea. Weird huh? There aren't very many smooth flowing highways that people use regularly. There's always tons of traffic so cruise really isn't an option. Sorry for the off-topic

i drilled a semi half ass dimple; you really cant drill much. mine works fine though. i just thought about the jb kwik weld about 30 minutes ago actually, and will be doing it just because the stuff is awesome.

I don't understand what RSide was thinking.."twin pulleys" when korean tibs don't have cruise, and the US tibs that DO have it can't use their pulleys, and putting a logo on the bottom so you can't see it. lol?

I suppose I'll bust out the JB kwik weld, I can probably do that and have it hold fine without even drilling a dimple.

okay, i'm done..
