Ok, I got an autometer boost gauge and put it in about a week ago. It was perfectly zeroed and everything was in working order until yesterday... I dont know what happened, but now when the car is off it zeros at ~ 5 vacuum... I wont be boosted until late winter so it has never measured boost, but before when I went WOT it would shoot up to 0 right away and now instead it just creeps slowly to "-5." I cant figure out wtf is different... lines are all normal still. any ideas or how to fix/recalibrate?? Thanks in advance

I'm not full sure how they work so I apologize if I'm wrong, but there is a vacuum in your car when you drive normally. There just isn't any boost. So it will read the vacuum, but nothing on the other side of the scale.
Please correct if wrong.

^^^
you're right
it will be a (-) negative or vacuum until you force more air in (turborize)
it's a vacuum because the cylinders are just sucking all the air in them for the burn
as for your problem, tibminn... i think your guage miscalibrated for some reason
if you can open the front cover up and physically touch the needle, you might be able to fix it

he said when engine is off gauge shows 5 vacuum.
leaks can't influence here.

then the gauge is prolly fine
if your really bored you can mount the FMIC if you have it, itll save you some time later, and if you dont want to be a total poser, just take the IC off after mounting it
