tell you a trick I learned from working on twenty to thirty year old fiats? Take a good strong breaker bar with your 22mm socket.. jam it into a pipe a couple of feet in length.. and with the socket on the nut.. arrange it so that the bar rests on the ground at a shallow angle towards the back of the car... with the ignition wires unhooked... tap the key to get the engine to spin over a MAX of one revolution...
The trick here is to have to that the turning of the engine tries to get the bar to LIFT the car... but the leverage is FAR too great and it will simply break the hold the nut has on the crank. Done it on half a dozen fiat engines and one 99 hyundai tiburon... works like a champ. I myself prefer to set it up so that the underside of the car is what the pipe wedges against, but a LOT of people are scared of hurting the car.
Just the three biggies to remember..
1: make sure the bar is arranged so that the spin of the engine pushes it against something that WILL NOT MOVE!
2: Make sure the plug wires are unhooked.. not a good time to start the car
3: Do not spin the nut off of the crank by spinning the engine too much. you just want to break it free.

Great idea.
One other thing, only do this with a Craftsman breaker bar or another company that you can take it right in and replace it if it breaks for free.

just be careful and comfortible with the proceedure. A double check that you have the bar facing the right way so it does not violently contact sheetmetal or anything breakable.

car revs a tad more freely and i think it helped a little bit throughout the rpms, taking the same turn i usually take but today with the pulley it seems to have freed some power....
