That's right, the donations to the site from premium members have bought us all some stuff. We are buying some site tools that Premium Members can check out for the price of shipping both ways, and now I've got a full set of part number sheets for both cars off of ebay, that I am scanning and posting here tomorrow.

More site tools are on the way and will include...

1. Digital Torque Wrench / Torque Wrench Calibrator (Craftsman)

2. Rear Brake Caliper Tool

3. Brake Line Bleeder

4. ODB II Code Reader / Scanner / Clearing Tool

More to come...

lol, i speak from experience. you can't tell when you're done bleeding because the vaccum sucks air from around the bleeder screw.

digital torque wrench is an awesome idear, as is scanner. Id say things that will measure the performance of certain things. how about a gtech? people can argue the accuracy of those things all they want, but as long as you have an accurate weight entered in, those things are damn near spot on.

I could see one of those tools used to test and see if a wire has any current flowing through being helpful. Hmm... soldering iron?

Do you think whoever uses the tools, should put down a refundable deposite? Just to make sure the tools are returned.

Very good idea. That one will take some saving up.

Multimeter? They are dirt cheap, can be bought anywhere. I have one I can loan as a site tool.

Ehhh, I dunno about that.

Well, that's why it's gonna be Premier Members only. You have money at stake in the site and have helped to buy the tools. For some of the tools, there WILL be a deposit via paypal, and you will get a REFUND when it arrives back, so no 3% fees.
