That's right, the donations to the site from premium members have bought us all some stuff. We are buying some site tools that Premium Members can check out for the price of shipping both ways, and now I've got a full set of part number sheets for both cars off of ebay, that I am scanning and posting here tomorrow.
More site tools are on the way and will include...
1. Digital Torque Wrench / Torque Wrench Calibrator (Craftsman)
2. Rear Brake Caliper Tool
3. Brake Line Bleeder
4. ODB II Code Reader / Scanner / Clearing Tool
More to come...

lol, i speak from experience. you can't tell when you're done bleeding because the vaccum sucks air from around the bleeder screw.
digital torque wrench is an awesome idear, as is scanner. Id say things that will measure the performance of certain things. how about a gtech? people can argue the accuracy of those things all they want, but as long as you have an accurate weight entered in, those things are damn near spot on.

Multimeter?
soldering irons are cheap though you can get those from any tool store for under 10 bux
how about tool packages? like every tool and ONLY the tools youll need to swap out 1.8 cams

Very good idea. That one will take some saving up.

Multimeter? They are dirt cheap, can be bought anywhere. I have one I can loan as a site tool.

Ehhh, I dunno about that.

Well, that's why it's gonna be Premier Members only. You have money at stake in the site and have helped to buy the tools. For some of the tools, there WILL be a deposit via paypal, and you will get a REFUND when it arrives back, so no 3% fees.

how about a compression tester? im not sure how much they are, but people dont use them often, so when they need it they could just pay shipping, use it and send it back..
def. a gtech or something of the sort..
OBDII will be great idea.
i think setting up little set of tools for certain jobs would be nice.. like cams, or taking off the tranny, removing certain braces, etc; with like a laminated DIY with all pictures, in like a binder, to protect it, to come with it, so people will have as much EASE in doing these type of projects as possible.
ill try and add more as i think of em..
i will be a premier member soon, just need to straiten a few loose ends out.
