If I could park inside I wouldn't have such problems wink1.gif

The parking lot where I park my car is 5 minutes away from my house and I can't plug there electrical heater to warm up the car 02.gif

Spend a little more and use like 91 octane, you might have a tank of bad gas - that could be one reason.
I put in 91 or 94 octane, my car starts right up.

I live in Canada cool.gif

check your plugs, wires ( even though you know to do that all ready).
It very well could be your battery taking a crap on you.

i would think it's either your battery, or bad gas (possible fuel line freeze).

Hint:
Remember to wait 15 seconds after each attempt at starting your car, other wise you run the risk of burning

I use only 91 octan (premium)
But it might be crappy.

Is there any additive that makes it easier to start?

to convert Celsiut to Fahrenheit you need:

( 9/5 * temp in C ) + 32

pwned.

I added pos.

if this is a power problem, look into an optima battery. Those things can withstand COLD temps and work just fine, plus the list of advantages over regular auto batteries goes on and on.

if the batteries were cranking fine, then time to look elsewhere. take the plugs out and smell to make sure fuel is getting to them.

i had this problem when the temp was dipping into the negatives, it cranked fine but just didnt start the car even after 5 10 second attempts. I hooked a battery charger up to the engine, set it on 200A engine start, and it cranked over faster and started like a champ on the second revolution.

Now I have warm fully charged battery (60 A/h), so I'm gonna try start the engine right now. Wish me good luck.

BTW you can try to smell gas through the tailpipe fing02.gif

I never had any problems starting my old Excel when I was stationed in Kansas and it was -76 with the windchill. I just had to put a cardboard piece in front of the radiator to keep it from freezing and point it away from the wind direction. Never had problems with the tib either.

I'd suggest that you try a bit of starter fluid. It should pop right on the first try. Get someone to go out (Or you can do it if you are quick), spray just a quick spray in the intake, and start it immediately.
