Can anyone update these pics? http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=5005&st=20
I've done a lot of reading on this topic, since I've got an airram/bbtb now and I don't want it to be full of gunk. After I install the airram I'm gonna use some of that foaming cleaner that fonseca used, then install a catch can.
Where do you mount it (I read TC said she put it on the firewall underneath the strut bar, how'd that work out?)
I want to use an ebay catch can, but I've read so many different stories that I'm confused on the best placement (for hoses and stuff), where to mount it, what size to get, etc..
If anyone can help clear up some of these questions for me that'd be great smile.gif
thx

I reckon the best way to hook it up would be to put it in between the PCV & the IM, then block off the other line that would usually go to the air-intake or put a breather filter on that one maybe.
I've seen people mount theirs on the firewall (passenger side on US cars), on the driver's side (US) strut tower & also in between the engine & the CAI piping... amongst other places. Take your pick.
You'll need a can with the smaller 9mm hose-fittings too fing02.gif
