after about two hours reading up on all sorts of exhaust parts I find through searching that we basically have no good kits anymore? I hear about OBX breaking welds, ssaotuchrome sounding bad when you stomp the fun button, really restrictive overly loud mufflers that don't work worth a damn. are we to a point with the tibs that we have to go and rob from other kits to make a good one or is there anymore making one still.
sorry if i sound like i am venting a bit, but i am searching my arse off nightly for stuff for my car and i feel like lately once again i have a project car that i can't get nothing for except for knockoff crap.
not giving up, i just spent close to a grand this weekend on goodies, lol.
let me know if there is really a good setup, thanks in advance.

nothing wrong with the obx one except that its way loud. but thats simple, get a hi flow cat and a better muffler and it will sound fine.
or, just go custom.

I have the ssautochrome exhaust and it sounds fine, not too loud. As long as you do it right. I have a 13-1/2" cat and a 31" glasspack. I did replace the muffler for a cheap one off e-bay though, and the whole setup sounds pretty good IMO. Also i have a cheap header off of e-bay as well. I will post some clips when i get a chance.

There is the Motoria catback, the only complaint I've heard thus far is about the piping by the axle. There was a group buy back in december for Apex'i N1 style full exhausts, they went for 500. I'm not sure if you can still order from them for a higher price, or if those exhausts were a one time deal. I'll tell you what though, if we can round some people up, we might hope for another GB for the Apex'i... Just go with the OBX header, it works fine for the price, unless you want to shell 550+ for the maintec (www.seoulfulracing.com), or 700+ for the maintec GT. Those are the best two out there.

Meh. I don't like OBX, they are another company like Bomz that doesn't listen to it's customers. Their quality is either spot on, or pretty bad, just depends on the luck of thedraw.
