i took my car to Monro Muffler and Brake and for some reason their computer cannot connect to my ecu...

when they plug in there computer the cruise light flashes while it plugged in.

after we put in all the information

I don't know that this will be helpful, but I had this problem over the summer but I tried it again like a week later and it worked fine.

The key either needs to be in the ON position, or the engine running.

^^ agreed, try starting the car

in my shop class we have our "universal" scanner that we can plug in and it doesnt work with my car, however, our Modis scanner works just fine... sometimes you just have to use a different scanner

i had a similar problem like that and it was because of a bad ecu connection.
