dood, definately return that and go get one from murrays or something, and check it first.. you will need to have that same fitting as the stock one has.. or ask hyundai if they can get you the right one...
Yes, fuel filter chaging is a HUGE PITA but i wouldnt take to dealer or have it done cuz theyll rape you on the price. It just takes a while, the threads come offff SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWLY

Well, I visited the dealership, and they got my vin number. The guy said that's suppose to be the right fuel filter so I showed this idiot it's the wrong one. Since that was the only one in stock, they are going to order a couple more in. Maybe its the wrong part in the box.
Anyways I'm just a bit upset, everytime I visit the dealership something screws up. Last time they fixed the problem by offering me free things.
PS importshark, did the engine seize on you? Make a new thread and let us know what happened..

K go back to the dealership and tell the parts monkies what they gave you was a 31911-34000, and is for a Sonata or XG
Probably boxed wrong either by them or Hyundai.
If you showed BOTH sides of the filter earlier, I would of known laugh.gif

get one from autozone, thats what i did.
im thinking its easier for people elsewhere in the world because they have their whole brake booster/master cylinder/ all those f***ing hard brake lines on the other side, away from the fuel filter.
