Re: CAI filters
Never used a CAI myself, but those filters look like the ones I used when I helped with quarter midgets. We would spray air filter cleaner on them and rinse them out... good as new smile.gif

Re: The Person Above You
Hrmm, Thats money best spent elsewhere in my opinion. I cant see a brand new one breathing too much better after cleaning an old one. I guess there is always the new look that ppl go for, but if its in the fenderwell, no one will see it..

Re: raffles
the last one I had was pretty new, but before that one, the old one somehow got run through the mud and clogged with dirt. And before that I had one that was more restrictive. So I guess Ive only changed it three times. But now Im on #4, just put one on the silver tib.

Re: Hawk or EBC greenstuff
lol... and they only cost $20! Better than paying $80 to replace an ugly stock filter you would have to special order!
as for the fresh new feel? i hope you guys don't go throwing money around like i amon these things. my rotors group buy... one of the rotors got warped and the paint boiled and got torn into the brake pad after the caliper went out on me. got the caliper reaplced for $300. it went out on me again... one rotor is just hideous... i hate it.

Re: Hawk or EBC greenstuff
Somehow I just ended up with a whole bunch of them. I guess if you keep it clean and dont drive through the mud, it should last you quite a while.
